What Our Pest Control Work Covers
Last updated: October 2026
Utah Pest Pros performs the pest control services listed in your estimate, work order, or other written agreement. The agreed scope may include inspection, treatment, and related steps for the pest and areas identified in that document. Work outside that scope, including additional visits, repairs, exclusion work, cleanup, or treatment of newly discovered pests, requires a separate agreement or your approval of a revised scope.
We select and apply pesticides according to Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) requirements and EPA label directions, including use restrictions. Our work is also subject to the Utah Pesticide Control Act, Utah Code Title 4, Chapter 14, and applicable Utah Administrative Code R68-7 certification rules.
Applicator licensing is overseen by the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food. Where relevant, we follow applicable hazardous-waste requirements under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and workplace safety rules. We do not promise outcomes beyond the written scope or product label.
Setting, Changing, or Canceling a Visit
Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method offered by Utah Pest Pros. We confirm the service date and any arrival information with you.
Please provide safe access to the agreed treatment areas and tell us about relevant site conditions or access limits before the visit. If you need to cancel or change an appointment, contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Any cancellation charge or notice requirement applies only if it was disclosed and agreed to before booking.
A request to treat additional areas, address another pest, or perform different work may change the scope and price. We will explain the proposed change and obtain your approval before doing work beyond the existing agreement.
If conditions at the property prevent safe or label-compliant service, we may pause, reschedule, or decline the affected work and discuss next steps with you. A new appointment is not confirmed until we agree on its timing. You may ask us to clarify any scheduling notice or proposed change before approving it.
Estimates, Approved Work, and Payment
An estimate describes the work and price Utah Pest Pros expects to provide based on the information available at the time. It is not approval for work outside the listed scope.
Ask questions before accepting if a pest, area, visit, or service step is not clear. We will seek your approval before adding work or changing the agreed scope, and will explain any related price change before proceeding.
Payment is due as stated in the estimate, work order, invoice, or other agreement you accept. If the document does not state a payment date or method, contact us for clarification before service.
You are responsible for paying for authorized work and any separately approved changes. An estimate may need revision if an inspection reveals conditions that materially affect the work; we will discuss the revised scope and cost with you before carrying it out.
No specific price, financing option, or payment plan is promised by these terms. Keep your written estimate and invoice for reference, and contact us promptly if you believe a charge does not match the work you approved.
Written Warranty Terms for Completed Work
Any workmanship warranty or service guarantee from Utah Pest Pros applies only when its terms are provided in writing for the specific service. The written document controls the covered work, duration, any follow-up visit, and steps you must take to request service under the warranty. These general terms do not create a warranty period or promise that pests will not return.
Coverage may depend on following preparation and aftercare instructions, allowing access for any agreed follow-up, and keeping the treated area in the condition described in the written terms. A warranty may not cover a different pest, an untreated area, new pest entry, or conditions outside the agreed work.
Tell us promptly if you believe a covered issue has occurred, and provide the service details so we can review the applicable terms. We will explain whether the concern falls within the written coverage before arranging warranty work. Nothing in this section reduces rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Responsibility for Service-Related Losses
To the extent allowed by law, Utah Pest Pros’ responsibility for a claim arising from a particular service is limited to the amount paid for that service. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it, including liability that cannot legally be waived or limited.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed conditions, or loss caused by circumstances beyond the agreed work, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing here excludes responsibility for our own negligence or other conduct where exclusion is not permitted.
Pesticide work is performed subject to FIFRA and the applicable EPA label directions and restrictions, as well as the Utah Pesticide Control Act, Utah Code Title 4, Chapter 14, and applicable Utah Administrative Code R68-7 requirements. Applicator licensing is overseen by the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food.
Applicable hazardous-waste and workplace safety rules, including the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200, remain in effect. These terms do not authorize work contrary to those requirements.
Questions About These Service Terms
For questions about these terms or an agreed service, contact Utah Pest Pros at (855) 681-0299 or info@utahpestpros.top. You may also write to 222 S Main St, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, UT, USA. Include your name and any estimate, invoice, or appointment details that will help us identify the matter. Please do not send sensitive payment information by ordinary email.
We may revise these terms when our policies or legal requirements change. Updated terms will be posted on the applicable website page or provided through another reasonable notice method.
Changes apply prospectively and do not alter work already approved unless you agree to the change or the law requires it. The version in effect when you approve a service governs that service, subject to applicable law and any later written agreement.
If a provision cannot be enforced as written, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted. Contact us if you need a copy of the terms that applied to an earlier appointment.
Daniel Mercer
Service Expert at Utah Pest Pros
I started in pest control in the Salt Lake Valley, where I learned how dry summers, cold winters, and older homes can shape pest problems from season to season. I built this company to give Utah homeowners clear inspections and treatment plans grounded in the conditions we see here.
